The Faculty of Literature and Humanities started working in 2013 with an area of ​​6200 square meters with two courses of English and Persian language and literature and 10 faculty members. In 1386, the fields of sociology, political science, history and theology began to attract students at the undergraduate level and in 1388 at the master's level. In 2013, the field of psychology and educational sciences, in 2014, the field of economics, and in 2016, the fields of philosophy and geography were launched.

The Faculty of Basic Sciences was established in Yasouj University in 1374 and has more than 26 years of experience in education and research in Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad provinces. Initially, it had fields of chemistry, physics, and mathematics, and after a few years, fields of biology, statistics, and phytochemistry were added to them. Faculty of Science has 63 faculty members with different degrees (13 full professors, 22 associate professors, and 28 assistant professors), more than 1000 undergraduate students, 400 senior students, and 100 doctoral students.
